one of Jasper's oldest buildings, the original weather station is completely remodeled as a B&B and Pottery studio

The Gingerbread House is an officially listed 'Heritage' house which has been completely renovated and decorated by professionals.  Once the original weather station, it is now known throughout the town and surrounding area as a B&B and pottery studio.

At the Gingerbread House guests enjoy the entire top storey (floor) with two bedrooms, an opulent 4 piece bathroom boasting a clawfoot, slipper back, cast iron bath tub set in a turret of 5 windows overlooking the south mountain ranges and the garden with pond and fountain, a library sitting room with fridge and tea service and private balcony with same south view........

Our guests enjoy breakfast served on the lower garden patio in full sun, or inside in the kitchen nook, surrounded by mountains. We are a corner property with an abundance of parking, including off street parking, located one block from the first shops and restaurants 1 ½ blocks from the bus and train station.

The owner was born in Jasper and has spent 34 years in the tourist industry, working in the the Trail and Information/Rescue Service and can assist with all attractions, hiking information as well as most local knowledge.
